Volvo Penta Aquamatic Sterndrive D6-400 DPH is a totally integrated package, powered by the in-line 6-cylinder, 5.5-liter, common-rail diesel engine with double overhead camshafts, and turbo. Working together with the perfectly matched DPH Duoprop drive and the Electronic Vessel Control system, the package offers exceptional diesel performance combined with low emissions.
Immediate response and high performance is matched by lower amounts of noise and vibrations further reduced by the balance shaft and the optimized engine suspension.
Compact, robust and lightweight
The engine is lightweight and extremely compact for its large swept volume and high output. The rigid cast-iron cylinder block and cylinder head, and exactly controlled fuel injection give excellent onboard comfort.
