VOLVO PENTA INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY COVER HAS AN HOURS USED AND OR 12 MONTH TIME LIMIT.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO QUALIFY FOR SOME MORE COVER? THEN PLEASE READ ON…………
For leisure rated vessel owners of Volvo Penta diesel and gasoline engines ranging from D1 to D6, your standard International Limited Warranty is 12 months or 300 hours which may be extended by 12 months (or 300 hours, whichever comes first), or
For leisure rated D9 – D13 leisure rated vessel Volvo Penta diesel engines, your standard international limited warranty is 12 months or 500 hours which may be extended by a further 12 months (or 500 hours, whichever comes first)
provided these basic requirements are fulfilled.
- Pre Delivery Commissioning and registration is completed by an authorised Volvo Penta dealer or service centre.
- Attend a First Service Inspection at the suggested time for your engine model and have your first annual service completed by an authorised Volvo Penta dealer within the first year.
- Continue servicing as recommended by Volvo Penta at an authorised Volvo Penta dealer and keep your service record up to date.
The cost of the Extended Protection cover is free; however you will need to pay for your first inspection and first 12 month service to be eligible for extended protection activation.
Congratulations! You are then covered from that point as part of the Volvo Penta Extended Protection.
Unfortunately, Extended Protection cannot be added retrospectively so it would pay to check that your vessel registration has been completed successfully as soon as you have taken delivery of your boat.
Your local Volvo Penta dealer can check this for you with just your engine serial number/s.
