The Polish boat builder Sunreef Yachts breaks new ground when powering their 60 feet power-catamaran with Volvo Penta´s IPS system. Sunreef is now in the midst of making IPS available for their entire power-catamaran range.

Volvo Penta is now launching IPS900 with Rating 3 for commercial boats. This means that a larger number of boats for commercial use can take advantage of the well-known IPS benefits: improved fuel economy, better manoeuvrability and lower overall operating costs.
Volvo Penta D13 has now further been developed to meet EPA Tier 3 – the new marine environmental emission standard. The new version of D13 offers improved environmental properties with basically unchanged low fuel consumption.
