Manufacturing

Environmental programs have been introduced and all our manufacturing facilities are certified in accordance with ISO 14001. Our plant in Vara, Sweden, was one of the first in Europe to meet this standard.

Furthermore, Volvo's extensive environmental requirements for manufacturing facilities are followed in all our plants. These requirements contain, for example, guidelines for the use of chemicals, emissions to air and water, waste management and the environmental organization.
