Joystick

Features for easy boating
Volvo Penta IPS is available with a range of features to be tailored for your personal needs. Here are some highlights.
Dynamic Positioning System holds the boats position and heading, despite winds or currents. An excellent feature when waiting at the fuel dock, for example.
Cruise control provides fingertip control of engine rpm, letting you optimize fuel economy as well as comfort.
Single-lever Mode lets you control all engines with one lever. Easy and precise even in rough seas.
Sportfish Mode uses the steerable pods in a unique way, making it easy to follow the fish and to bring it home.
Low-speed Mode decreases boat speed at idling by 50%, from 5–6 knots to 2–3 knots, making close-quarter manuevering less stressfull.
