Volvo Ocean Race
The conditions are extreme. The engines are not. All yachts competing in Volvo Ocean Race have one thing in common – they rely on two standard engines from Volvo Penta. One D1-30 for generating electricity, and one D2-75 for propulsion at the stopovers or in case of emergency.
