Naval architects, operators and boat builders from all over the world participated when Volvo Penta organised a design seminar for the IPS propulsion system (Inboard Performance System), for high performance work and patrol boats.

At this Industrial & Marine Commercial exhibition Volvo Penta presents the third phase of the IPS system based on the 13-liter marine diesel. The new IPS package generates the equivalent of 1050 hp. Furthermore Volvo Penta exhibit its unique range of diesel engines including the ATEX compliant range for Zone 2.

In April 2010, Singapore has conducted Industrial OEMs training on D16C Industrial Engine and Vodia tools. The training conducted in Singapore is to familiarise OEMs with the local capability to do support & maintenance.
