The new limitations of emission standards put increased demands on marine engine manufacturers. Now, Volvo Penta’s world-leading D4/D6-series is compliant with Tier 3, the world’s strictest environmental demands for diesel engines for marine use. The upgrade has resulted in an engine range with less environmental impact – without ever compromising Volvo Penta’s classic driveability.
