As part of the Volvo Group, Volvo Penta committed to the Science Based Target initiative of becoming 100% fossil-free by 2050, with net-zero value chain emissions by 2040. In a recent webinar recorded for a virtual conference hosted by Charged Electric Vehicles Magazine, explains how the company is working towards its goals with a specific focus on electromobility in the off-road industry. In the 30-minute webinar, Zeyd discusses everything from the range of solutions required and the need for a flexible and scalable platform, to the importance of understanding customer requirements and Volvo Penta’s partnership approach with customers. You’ll also get an inside look at some of the company’s electromobility projects that are underway, including driveline solutions for an electric terminal tractor and electrified fire trucks.
