The Volvo Penta D13 power generation engine is well-balanced for smooth, low-noise, and vibration-free operation. Designed for economical, fast, and easy installation.
For a controlled working temperature in cylinders and the combustion chamber, the D13 power generation engine is equipped with piston cooling. Throughout the engine, cylinder liners, valve seats, and valve guides are replaceable to ensure maximum durability and longevity.
The modern, high-tech injection and charging system in the D13 power generation engine has low internal losses and provides efficient combustion and low fuel consumption. Chosen engine design combined with optimized DPF/SCR technology ensures that D13 complies with Stage V emission regulations.
A number of easy-to-access service points simplify the maintenance and service of the D13 power generation engine – a handy feature for compartments with limited space.
