The newly established Turkish boat builder Numarine Performance Motoryachts is turning to the Volvo Penta D9 to boost its investment in exclusive high-speed leisure boats.

Numarine is a new player in the leisure boat industry. The company was formed in 2003 and has rapidly grown in pace with the increased boating interest on the Turkish market.

This year Numarine is displaying its boats through distributors at most of the important boat shows around the Mediterranean and in the next few years introductions of a number of new boat models up to 102 feet are planned.

Production, which is carried out in a 6,000 square meter plant in Gebeze outside Istanbul, is based on the infusion process, which involves high-tech lamination with fiberglass that ensures high quality and lower weight.

The big news this year is the introduction of the Fly and Open 52-foot models, both equipped with twin Volvo Penta D9-575 engines and speed performance of 30 knots
