Volvo Penta at the American Rental Association Show

The American Rental Association (ARA) will host its 65th annual trade show on October 17-20th, 2021, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Featuring rental-specific education, networking events, and impressive equipment displays, the ARA Show is the largest equipment and event rental convention in the world.

This year’s ARA Show will feature equipment for construction/industrial, general tool/light construction, and party/special event rental segments. Volvo Penta will be exhibiting alongside sister company Volvo Construction Equipment indoors in booth #1241 South Hall. We will have the Volvo Penta D8 Tier 4 Final on display. Volvo Penta will have a second booth outdoors, located at #OT321, where a mobile generator powered by Volvo Penta will be showcased. This display will be hosted in collaboration with Volvo Penta partner CK Power.

Volvo Penta supplies the reliable power needed for a variety of off-road and power generation rental applications operating in construction sites, at events and more.

Tier 4 Final 8-Liter Diesel Engine

With lower costs of ownership, advanced emission technology and high performance, these diesel engines provide the efficiency needed for any job. By constantly enhancing the fuel efficiency of our engines, we give Volvo Penta engine operators a competitive edge saving money on fuel costs over the long term. Volvo Penta’s power solutions also offer high power density and torque available at low rpm. Noise levels and fuel consumption are also very low, making them an optimal solution.

Total Solution

Not only does Volvo Penta supply robust and reliable engines that are characterized by premium product quality, our company support projects throughout the lifetime of the machines. From design to installation, and offering superior service support, Volvo Penta is with our customers all the way. They are backed by our extensive dealer network that is equipped with high-quality industrial parts, diagnostic systems, certified technicians and more.

The Power of Independence

As an independent engine supplier, we don’t compete with our customers. Instead, we’re by their side every step of the way, throughout the entire life cycle of their purchase. We are thoroughly dedicated to supplying the necessary hardware to ensure the business success of our partners, instead of competing with them.

What to do in Las Vegas

Bellagio Casino and Fountains

A staple on the strip in Las Vegas, the Bellagio Fountains dazzle passersby every 15 to 30 minutes with a choreographed light and water show. The Bellagio boasts many amenities in addition to the fountain shows, luxury hotel, and casino, including the 14,000-square-foot botanical gardens, a fine art gallery, a spa, Cirque du Soleil's "O" show, restaurants, bars and shops. The Bellagio is open to visitors 24 hours a day.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

Leave the casinos and neon landscape of the city in the rear-view and visit the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to experience the signature red hills of the Mojave Desert. Enjoy the scenic drive or get out and stretch your legs on one of the numerous hiking and biking trails. Make sure you bring water, sunscreen and a hat as well as a map from the visitor center to ensure you stay on the path.

High Roller Observation Wheel

Experience Las Vegas at new heights on the High Roller Observation Wheel at The LINQ Hotel & Casino. The High Roller is the tallest observation wheel in the world, standing at 550-feet. The wheel features 28 pods made of Italian glass, each with a capacity of 40 people. A ride on the wheel takes about 30 minutes and provides a great photo op, especially at night when all the lights are visible. Riders are welcomed daily from 4 p.m. to midnight and tickets start at $34.75 for adults.
