SCR technology selected by Volvo does not increase the amount of cooling capacity needed. All material required to install the D11 industrial engine can be ordered from Volvo Penta as optional equipment. And installation guidelines, drawings, and CAD models are easy to access.
Volvo Penta’s long experience with SCR systems combined with base engine development reduces the risk of downtime. The D11 off-road engine is well-balanced to produce smooth operations with low noise.
The D11 industrial engine delivers maximum power and torque even at low rpm, lowering noise levels and fuel consumption. With the power and torque layout being flexible, the engine speed is very useful.
