Key features and benefits for D11 - EU Stage V
The D11 industrial engine combines world-class fuel efficiency with a reliable Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) – to deliver maximum uptime and low cost of ownership.
The system concept lowers the amount of cooling capacity needed, which minimizes the radiator size. Interfaces are compatible with engines subject to earlier legislation.
Volvo Penta's long experience with DPF/SCR systems combined with great knowledge of base engine development reduces the risk of downtime. The in-line six-cylinder engine and a common rail system produce smooth operation with low noise levels.
Maximum torque is available at low rpm and continues to rated power. The power and torque layout ensure that the off-road engine operates in a wide engine speed range.
Maximum power and torque are available at low rpm, resulting in low noise levels and efficient fuel consumption. Thanks to the power and torque layout being very flexible, the engine speed is useful.
