Due to its rigid, in-line cylinder block with durable crankshaft bearings, air-cooled exhaust manifold, and turbo, the D7 power generation engine is extremely powerful. Designed with efficient power generation and maximum uptime in mind.
The D7 power generation engine is equipped with piston cooling to maintain a controlled working temperature in cylinders and combustion chambers. The engine is also fitted with replaceable cylinder liners and valve seats/guides to ensure maximum durability and service life.
The smooth operation of the robust and well-balanced D7 power generation engine results in minimal levels of vibrations and noise, as well as controlled emission levels. The high-tech injection and charging system with low internal losses contributes to excellent combustion and efficient fuel consumption. Complies with Stage II and EPA Tier 2 exhaust emission regulations.
The service and maintenance points on the D7 power generation engine are easily accessible to ease the service of the engine – a feature highly valuable in tight compartments.
