To maintain a controlled working temperature in cylinders and combustion chambers, the D8 power generation engine is equipped with piston cooling. It also features replaceable cylinder liners and valve guides/seats to ensure maximum durability and service life.
The ultra-modern, high-tech injection and charging system with low internal losses lowers fuel consumption and leads to excellent combustion. The D8 power generation engine from Volvo Penta complies with Stage II and EPA Tier 2 exhaust emission regulations.
