Stage IV & Tier 4 Final

Stage IV/Tier 4 Final

Stage IV and Tier 4 Final legislation increases the demands on industrial engines. Here, Volvo Penta has chosen to work with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology paired with a light EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system. Apart from lowered emissions, this solution means less maintenance and upkeep for customers, as well as better productivity and uptime and lower maintenance costs.

Stage II & III/Tier 2 & 3

Stage II & III/Tier 2 & 3

In order to keep emissions down and meet the demands of Stage II & III/Tier 2 & 3, Volvo Penta has chosen to work with robust engine construction with low complexity. The robust engine design together with the injection system contributes to efficient combustion as well as lowered fuel consumption. The low complexity engine leads to the benefit of easier installation and maximized uptime.
